lesbian fiction
Jan. 19th, 2013 02:37 pmA friend just introduced me to the Golden Crown Literary Society. Here's a link to a list of books nominated for the Goldie Awards.
And this is from their mission statement:
The Golden Crown Literary Society (GCLS) is a literary and educational organization for the enjoyment, discussion, and enhancement of lesbian literature. Our goals are to support and strengthen quality lesbian literature by providing places for readers and writers to interact, to encourage and assist new writers and established authors, and to recognize and promote lesbian work. The Golden Crown Literary Society (GCLS) is a growing organization that brings people together who are interested in the enjoyment, discussion, and enhancement of lesbian literature.
An all-volunteer effort relying on the expertise of its members, the GCLS works to develop programs that provide ways for readers and writers to interact, to encourage and assist new writers and established authors, and to recognize and promote lesbian literary work. The GCLS is open to anyone interested in these goals.
