outside my comfort zone
Aug. 26th, 2015 10:54 amI recenlty watched a vid saying you should do something outside your comfort zone each day. Today I did two.
On a facebook jobs site, I posted that I was looking for a job. I'm looking for ideas of what kinds of things I could do. The thing is that I don't like telling people what I'm doing. I don't actually know why that is, but it's quite strong in me.
The second is that I met a guy on Monday who has his own travel company. I don't know that he wants an assistant (actually I think he's torn about the idea because he's had a bad experience in the past) and I don't know that he'd want me as an assistant because he's super detail oriented and, by nature, I'm more organized chaos, but I did it. I also offered some suggestions on selling points for the company in general and for a specific trip he might arrange.
Phew. Feeling courageous.
