On a hill in Brentwood, PA has an excellent view of fireworks. Off to the right, in the distance, what was probably downtown Pittsburgh’s display. To the left, closer, was another professional display. About a dozen, at least!, displays in all although most were people setting off fireworks on their own. One was a half block down. Another, even closer, shot them above the intersection I was standing in. I have to admit, I wasn’t thrilled to have one go off above me. I wish he’d sent them straight up rather than at an angle. Others were off in the distance, so far that they barely made it over the horizon or above treetops. Many were close enough to see well and far enough that I felt safe watching them. I can still see some from outside my window. It’s awesome!
