Ethan's car

What kind of car would Ethan drive? I'm having him show in in season 1. I think it would be something of a high-status and maybe sporty car but I really don't know cars. Since he's just shown up in Sunnydale it's possibly a rental.

It's a 1969 Triumph TR6. I should think that Ethan, being a resourceful type, could lay hands on any car he fancies.
