Now that the temperature is down into record breaking cold levels, I'm quite glad I went ahead and got the furnace fixed. Granted it might have been fine as it was, but it's a relief now to know I don't have to worry about it.

Me too, but since I'll have to replace it soonish - before next winter at least - I wouldn't have minded not having the expense.
