Prompt: "That's correct," he lied.
“That’s correct.”
Gods but Ripper looked smug hitting on that little floozy. That certainly couldn’t be left to stand. “He lied.”
“What?” Taking advantage of the girl’s shock, Ethan stepped in between the two of them, close enough that they’d either have to make him part of their little tête-à-tête or step back. Ethan grinned as Olivia took a step back.
“Our Ripper wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him on the ass.” Counting on Ripper to keep his cool and not break out the violence in front of a bird he was chatting up, Ethan matched deed to words and grabbed a handful of ass, enough to make Ripper jump.
Good. Run Away. He’s mine, Ethan thought as the girl buggered off.
“Ethan,” Ripper growled.
“Yes?” He answered in his sweetest tone, knowing it would goad Ripper that much more.
“Alley. Now.”
Ethan winced as he raised a hand to his bruised cheek. Well, he’d known Ripper hadn’t dragged him into the alley for a good snog. That they could have had in any dark corner. Still, Ripper could always be talked out of a fight. As Ripper raised his fist again, Ethan struck. “Oh come on Ripper. At least kiss it better before you punch me again.”
“Why do I put up with you?” Ripper crashed his lips against Ethan’s.
Because, unlike that little chippie, I know what you need. Because you’re mine.
