The tree in my front yard is far too big for that tiny townhouse space. In addition, it was cut back too far in the past and is top heavy from many branches growing out from the cuts. I have to get permission to remove the tree. I filled out the application and heard back today. This is what they sent me.
Ah, I just got it. At first I read this as "Approved tree removal ... will not be effective" but "will not be effective" is part of the phrase started by pruning as in "pruning will not be effective. Okay, they could have written that better.
Approved tree removal (deciduous, front yard) as too large for the space and pruning will not be effective with the stipulation that the stump be completely removed and that a replacement tree of an appropriate size/species be installed and maintained in its place.
Please note the deadlines listed below. You must begin your installation within six (6) months and complete it within eighteen (18) months. Please notify your Covenants Advisor upon completion of your project.
