HP & alchemy (possibly not PC)

So I'm reading an alchemy book and it says: The symbol of Albedo is the White Queen. I immediately think, "Oh, that's why Albus (Dumbledore) is gay. He's the white queen."

Albus is Albedo, dawn, and Voldemort is Nigredo, death and decomposition. Harry is Rubedo, the final stage.


I really need to write an HP fic asap.

That is an interesting factoid. I wonder if that is what inspired JKR.
