Harry Morgan, who played Colonel Potter on MASH, just passed away. ;-(

Edit: Ooops, my bad. Still sad news but old news. I saw it on Facebook and shared without checking the date. And then I went out so I couldn't get online to correct myself.

Are you sure? Wikipedia lists him as dying back in 2011 (at 96).

Great actor all the same. I remember him from High Noon and The Ox Bow Incident as well.

The statement stands; he was excellent. I loved him slipping on the horse poop after Radar gave him Sophie, and I cried when he had to give her up because the war was over and he couldn't take her home with him.

He was also in two of my favourite movies, The Glenn Miller Story and A Bell for Adano.
