dragonyphoenixOne of my writing groups had it's holiday party / white elephant book exchange today. When one of the women took "The Biggest Loser" weight loss book, Clint - WHO IS AS CHUBBY AS ANYONE - commented that the only WOMAN who didn't need it got the book. As you can imagine, we got on his case for that one.
I brought June Casagrande's It was the best of sentences; it was the worst of sentences, which is a great grammar book. She knows exactly where my knowledge fades off. I got an Audobon book of Eastern birds. I'd initially picked Aubodon's insects and spiders bug traded for the bird book because I think Dad would like it.
