The snake-like demon’s white segments almost glowed against the sewer walls.

“Giant tapeworm,” Willow informed the group.

Spike, sword raised high, raced towards it. Joining him, Buffy asked, “How about I fight demons that don’t drip goo sometime? Maybe clowns?”

“Demon clowns?” Xander plastered himself against the wall.

“You’d be dodging flying pies,” Spike said, slashing at the beast. “Be a lot more fun to lick off though.”

“How about no clowns and just licking off pies?” Xander asked.

“Eww.”

“Xander, licking pie off Spike?”

“Oh, yeah,” Xander agreed weakly. “Licking and Spike. Ew.”

Spike gave him a speculative look.
