This is what I get for reading fanfic ...

There's an old Bill Cosby skit where he's talking about listening to a horror show on the radio as a kid. He's sent to bed and recites the Lord's prayer up until "and if I die before I wake ... Oh no! I'm not going to sleep tonight!"

That's how I feel. I've been reading a horror novel, The Strain, because I read a crossover between BtVS and The Strain and got curious. I generally don't pick up much less finish many popular thrillers but this was good. And scary. Very, very scary.

There is a tv show based on this book. There is no way I am ever watching it.
