Oboes play; set bagpipes sounding

I had planned to post my advent of music in groups of about four days each, but beer_good_foamy's choice to post them day-by-day has convinced me to do the same. However, I started two days back - I had that many songs - so my first day will have three songs. And as I'm likely to find songs I like and add them to the list, this probably won't be the only multiple song day.

I won't have a lot to say about each song. I'm starting with Sarah McLachlan's Wintersong because it's quietly reflective and also lovely.
