projecting anger
Mar. 2nd, 2021 09:07 pmCame back from break to find one of my co-workers complaining about me. Bard and Tina used to get real quite when they saw me as if they'd been gossiping about me. Then they had a falling out when Tina became a permanent employee but Barb didn't. Now they're talking again and, as far as I can tell, bonding by deciding I'm the big evil. I honestly feel like I'm in high-school with they way they behave.
Our work situation is pretty awful and I wonder if they're projecting their anger. Instead of being angry at the situation or the managers, they were angry with each other and are now angry at me. And I'm wondering if that's how one endures a crappy job: put your anger onto someone else to avoid realizing it's the environment. 'Cause I'm finding it hard to endure and am - yay! - planning my escape but I've noticed people either don't seem to realize how bad a job is or they just don't leave and I don't know how they do that.
