Next time it's on BBC Radio I'll send you the link. Every once in a while they run a season of his short stories; some read by the authot himself I think.
I first read this story as part of a reading comprehension test. When I raved about it after David "I can't recall his last name" introduced me to science fiction. I must have been in seventh or eighth grade at the time. That was really nice of him! ;-)
