the whole spraying for tick/mosquito control bugs the crap out of me. the people who used to live where we did sprayed, and when we moved in there were zero insects. total. including earthworms. i mean, the soil was also crap, but who does not have earthworms? also pollinators. so yeah. spraying = kill all the good bugs too.
*laughs* When I lived in Pittsburgh - decades ago - I saw a man spraying chemicals on his lawn. He smiled and waved, very friendly like, so I waved back but inside I was thinking, "What are you doing to the world?!?"
