Harvey Korman is gone

I just learned he passed away on the 29th of May. He was great on Carol Burnette. I loved how he tried to but just couldn't keep from laughing when Tim Conway really got going.

He passed in 2008, actually, though not to nearly enough fanfare. Oh how I loved him in Blazing Saddles!

Hmm, not sure how I made that mistake. Someone on facebook had posted something about him and I assumed he'd recently passed away. And yeah, great loss.

Considering how little coverage his death received, it's not at all surprising that you didn't know, believe me. It's a travesty how little the press cared.
