dragonyphoenix: Blackadder looking at scraps of paper, saying "It could use a beta" (Francine angel)

I'm not sure why he's carrying a light saber, but I do like the awareness of poverty in this video. It seems even more relevant today!

The people chasing after the falling money remind me of a job I used to have. When I bussed tables, there was one guy who would give tips to the bus”boys”. The other two bussers I worked with would circle that table like sharks, ignoring the other tables. For a $1 tip, which could buy, maybe, two candybars back then. I honestly never did understand why.

The original song was from Fred Astaire, if I remember it right.
So Tacco's costume is in remembering to the good old dancing films of Astaire and what you think is a laser sword is a walking cane from that time but with modern neon light in it. In the 80s all people loved neon lights! :)
And now that funny song is sticking in my head for days - again! :)
Damn earworm! *sigh*

Ah, being a Fred Astaire song certainly means the "Gary Cooper" reference makes more sense. Walking cane, that also makes more sense than a light saber! ;-)

I've listened to it again, so now it'll be stuck in my head for days as well. Just so you aren't the only one! ;-)

It is more relevant now, which is sad. *sigh*

Completely non-related: I've decided it's close enough to Halloween that I can start using this icon again! ;-)
