Fanfic for NaNo

Finished my first draft of my novel so I've switched over to fanfic as I continue upping the word count. Does dialogue from the episode count toward my daily word count? I'm already over my 50k. For some reason I'm still going. Because I'm insane or something. On the plus side I'm 17 pages into my Giles as the big bad story. ;-) (Not that I'm posting the first draft mind you.)

Part of that is I started NaNo with 25k already done on my original story, which completed at about 75 - 80k, but yes I am wailing on NaNo. 60k words as of today.
