end of the NaNo month; time to celebrate.

Yes, I know I'd already announced taht I'd met my goal but I kept going because Heaven forfend I should stop at 50,000 words. No, I have to keep my daily writing goal up until the end of the month to end at 66,538 words (or 66485 words if you believe their validator which is probably more accurate. Open Office has word couting bugs all over the place.). Phew! Glad this month is over.
And what have I learned?
- I can write 2000 words in a day ...
- ... but it's tough.
- I can write 1000+ words an hour but only if I don't stop to think about what I'm writing, which doesn't always work well.
- I can write fast or I can write well, but not both or at least not both yet.
- I really do love to procrastinate.

Date: 2013-12-01 08:20 am (UTC)I managed 800 words yesterday and was dead proud of myself. This is why I can never sign up to NaNo. 500 a day is about my average.
