Awesome to hear from you again. Why the new account?
On the Solstice proper I watched Shaun of the Dead - for the first time. I thought the zombie attacks and the use of light made an excellent metaphor for the battle between light and dark. The zombies almost killing everyone mapping to darkness at its strongest. The flickering of the fuses creating a disco light motif for hope barely holding on. The bright lights of the trucks when the soldiers arrived as the triumph of the sun.
