Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Based on the prompt I was trying to think of something Buffy couldn't defeat and Adam was the only thing that came to mind.

Thanks. I almost had a Xander-monster instead of the little girl. He would have been specifically calling out for Giles, suggesting that Adam really was worried about magic. That might have made the overall story a little less bleak by giving a hint of hope, but the idea of doing that to Xander was just too creepy. I couldn't do it.
