I love it when I stumbled across movie scenes that have obviously been referenced in Buffy. Tonight Leslie, my new housemate, and I were watching Hairspray (original). There's a dodge ball scene where one girl knocks another out with the ball just to be mean and someone says "God I love this game" which is, I believe, what the coach says in that hyena episode. ;-)
