Okay, I've gone ahead and created a community we can use to post prezzies for pickamix while she's in the hospital. It's called ficamix based on a suggestion from the very clever Gabrielle. I think it's about a week now before she's off but I'm sure she'd welcome any early distractions.

The name has sort of a fic focus because that's my thing, but fan art, vids, meta, anything that might cheer her up is welcome.

*HIMYM convinces me I need to use t the feminize icon more often, btw. And here I was getting soft and complacent*

ETA: I'm culling some artwork she inspired right now. I reread her fic wish list and it reminds me that a Spike/VampWillow/VampXander banner would be just nifty, but I don't know when I can get around to that.

New icons are on my personal page. Feminazi is new to me. This one also. Plus three from Strangers in Paradise and some new Xmas icons because ... Death as Hogfather, why wouldn't I?

The Blackadder one is well-nigh awesome. How many times have I walked away from a fic (or a movie or tv show) uttering the same thing?

I found the Blackadder one when I was setting up my dreamwidth account, which I pretty much never use anymore. So I decided to bring the icon over here.

And, yes, so many movies / tv shows could use a good beta review.

Sometimes those audience previews they do for movies can be a good thing. Ever see the original ("alternate") ending for Sweet Home Alabama? If you haven't - don't run out and waste your time btw, but let's just say I can't believe the filmmakers thought their ending was a jim-dandy idea until a preview audience said OH NO YOU DIDN'T.

BTW - I heard about Blackadder through my friends in college umpteen years ago and still haven't watched it. Do you recommend?
