Day 11: In your own space, post a rec for fannish and/or creative resources. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Back in May - and really? It was that far back? - I wrote a story about Giles making tea and I got some of the details wrong. If tea making is sacred to you, don't worry, I did fix the story's details. On the plus side I now know how to get a bunch of comments on a story!
This leads into my first resource. Ask someone who knows. In a Corner of My Soul turns Giles, a British character, into the big bad of season 1. My friends have answered many questions on locations, clothing, anything I needed to know. They are awesome and I thank them.
As for online resources
- Buffy Questions: Got a question about any of the Whedonverse shows (Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly)? Ask it here!
- Riters_R_Us: Writing tips, grammar, vocabulary and punctuation tips.
- Little Details: a fact-checking community for writers. I have no idea, personally, how to answer most of the questions I see here, but there are people who do and they chime in with answers. It's an active and helpful community.

Date: 2015-01-12 04:56 am (UTC)I'd forgotten about Buffy questions. I just tend to post on my site and wait for answers if I need them. And I only ran across Little Details this past year.
But I'm surprised you didn't know Riters_R_Us. I guess I just figured everyone did. It's very fun to ask grammar questions there. I tend to get contradictory answers but the reasons behind the different answers all make sense. ;-)
