Just paste the dead link into the bar next to "Browse History" button and hit that button. It will bring you to the calendar, listing the dates when the page you seek was archived.
Choose the year on the upper bar (2011 snapshots are useless, so pick 2009), and click on any highlited date at the calendar below. That should bring you to the archived version of the page, you can share the link to it as any other web link.
Actually the request originally came from someone who read And If My Love Had Never Let Me Go, which is influenced by one of Trekker's stories. Although I'd like to have working links to them myself.

Actually I went to the Wayback site and tried searching on author name and title. After you explained it, I did try the link at my story, which didn't work. Thanks for this one. I'll pass it along.
