We've got twenty-something mph winds out there. Wind chill is way below zero. So of course my heater is having problems again. I do have a work around. I can turn the heater itself off and then back on to get the heat kicking in. As long as that keeps working. Given that it's a Sunday and tomorrow is a holiday, unless the heater dies completely I won't have someone in the middle of the week. The off-hours guy is swamped; apparently everyone's heater is dying today.

Rassm-frassm heater picking the rassm-frassm coldest days of the year AND a weekend / holiday to boot! to break down.

The repair guy says it has something to do with the winds. The heater needs air to kick in and the drafts are taking that air away? I didn't quite follow. Plus the heater is indoors so I'm not sure why that would be a problem. Given that the winds have been around 10mph and are about to jump to 25, that doesn't look good for the heater starting to work without help again soon.

Edit: 2:42. I just noticed the heater has turned itself back on.Yay!

Edited @ 4:04: Aaaaand, it's not working again. I tried turning it off and then on again a half-hour ago. Nothing. I'm trying it again before calling the repair guy.
