Anyone  heard of this? Joss Whedon announced this new comic featuring a Victorian female Batman. What's the scoop? Good? Bad? Not out yet so more of a we don't know? As in ...

Xander:  Hey, Jesse, what's what?

Jesse:  New Girl!

Xander:  That's right, I saw her. Pretty much a hottie!

Willow:  I heard someone was transferring...

Xander:  So tell!

Jesse:  Tell what?

Xander:  What's the sitch, what do ya know about her?

Jesse:  New girl!

Xander:  Well, you're certainly a font of nothing!

*laughs* The disaster that is the Buffy comics was also my first thought! He did handle Fray pretty well though.

I just hope he's done some actual research into the period, or we'll end up with travesties like the party scene in FFL.

He also says there's never been a female Victorian Batman, but there sort of has, in Doctor Who - Madam Vastra and her wife, Jenny. But Joss probably doesn't know about them.

I don't know about them, but Joss seems like the kind who'd watch Dr. Who. On the other hand, if he doesn't know them, then I guess not.
