In honor of snogged's awesome Hermione icon ... One Halloween, most likely shortly after the first book had come out, Dad was greeting trick or treaters. He was going through the 'what are you dressed as?' ritual and one of the girls rolled her eyes in a 'great, another adult who doesn't recognize my costume' manner. Then Dad said, "And you're Hermione." Cheered her right up.

It is an excellent icon. And, yeah, that was cool of Dad.

I'm using my Halloween icon here because it's a teddy bear, dressed up as Dracula, that I got for Dad one year. ;-)
