For the "my life according to" post, I thought I'd go back and look for the original time I did this. Apparently that post predated the "all about me" tag and I'm certainly not searching through all my tags. So much for that.

But, I did click through an old post and saw that someone had deleted his/her comments. There are three deleted comments in this post, where I was having a conversation with this person, although only one over here.

How odd.

Most likely it's traces of account purge - some people get rid of all content, including comments, when deleting their LJ account.

Ah, I did not know there were different ways to delete your account. I know I've seen the name stricken out for deleted accounts. I believe this is my first encounter with deleted comments.

rbfvid is probably right. It's probably the result of deleted accounts. BTW, I am sorry I somehow missed your post back in 2011 and didn't congratulate you on your win at WGA. Congratulations! (Better late than never, right?)

That does make sense. I'd never run across an account where everything, including comments on other accounts, was purged.
