Date: 2015-12-02 08:03 pm (UTC)Decades ago I taped a weeks worth of Christmas Blues off the radio, a 1 hour show called The Blues Plate Special. The day of Silly Santa songs quickly became my favorite. For a while I was also buying a new Christmas CD each year, in differing genres.
I also had a big thing for Advent calendars some years back. Big enough that a friend brought one back from Germany for me. ;-)
Someone the two ideas came together. In the past, I've more made the lists up as I went along, but this year I prepped them ahead of time.
