incense

Last night there was incense in my  dream. Not only did I see it, but I actually smelled it. I don't believe I've ever noticed scents in my dreams before.

Interesting. I can't remember smelling things in my dreams, but I know I've tasted things. (I particularly remember a dream about picking and eating mulberries, and the sweet taste of the mulberries.)

I don't recall ever tasting anything. Up until now it's always been visual.

I suspect incense is one of those things that's best associated with smell and that's why you can smell it when it appears in your dreams.
