Ouch!

My poor roommmate Leslie. On Monday she fell on the way to work. At the Urgent Care they x-rayed her ankle and said it wasn't broken but she still had to be on crutches for a while. On Tuesday we went to a foot specialist and she told them the side of her foot was hurting. They x-rayed it and found a broken bone. Today another foot specialist, after I think more x-rays, said there are mutliple broken bones and they don't know how well it can be repaired. She ballroom dances for fun and on the way back she was all Scarlett O'Hara at the end of the movie, "I will dance again!"

Thanks. She's got another appointment on the 13th. I'm not sure when they'll schedule surgery. It's tough on her because we live in a three level townhouse and the bathroom on the main floor is busted (as in major leaking pipes if I turn on the water).

Oh no. That's got to be super inconvenient for her. Again, she has my sympathy.

Yeah, she's seeing if she can get someone in to help because she doesn't want to overburden me and hurt our friendship. She's also busy looking into Metro Access because she can't drive and getting to the Metro to get to/from work is going to be next to impossible without a pick-up.
