Huh. The one I'd heard involved, "He just loses control and hits me," and the question was, "Does he lose control and hit other people? His boss? His co-workers? Cops?" The answer was no, of course. The conclusion being, he's not out of control; he still knows and chooses whom to hit.

I hope you are not in current, personal need of Bancroft's book, but am glad you have found it if you are.

Thanks, I'm not in need of Bancroft's book. I found this on Tumblr and posted it because how it works out (he only breaks her things; he doesn't help clean; she never noticed) interests me and also because I have friends here who would be interested.
