book sale!

The library had a book sale lately. I’m not looking to buy new books but I felt safe sorting through the sci fi books. I check them out anytime there’s a sale and I never find anything. Except this time there are to by Bujold.

I’m not sure why the Ethan of Athos cover features the 6 Million Dollar Man, but I like the story even if it has a less than stellar cover.

I also picked up Borders of Infinity which I’ve been wanting to read ever since I read a description of the tying the stories together story: Miles and Illyan working together, while Miles is stuck in a hospital bed, to prevent a political attack against Miles’ father. It was more a few scenes and less a real story, which was a bit disappointing, but the book contains The Mountains of Mourning which is one of my favorite Vorkosigan stories. The book was worth more than the buck I paid so I’m good.

I adore the Vorkosigan series and was thrilled to find books I didn't yet own.
