question about chronic pain

My roommate has chronic pain. She has arthritis in her whole body from a diving board accident that happened when she was young. She comes home every night and pretty much zones in front of the tv. It's frustrating for me because, from my point of view, her actions are stating she thinks all the shared space is hers. I do have other reasons to think she's territoriality aggressive, but I'm wondering how much this action could be driven by her pain.

Could just as well lie in bed watching streaming stuff on laptop. Definitely comfier.

Mind, could be that she's locked in a cycle of "well dragony doesn't ask ever to watch the tv, means she doesn't want the living room anyway". Depends on what other behaviours are like.

Actually she's started turning off the tv shortly after I get home. Oddly enough, she started doing this days after it had stopped bugging me. She made sure to tell me that the show she had on had only about ten minutes left and she's done that regularly since then.

It is, which is nice because I wasn't sure how to discuss it with her. I was afraid I'd come off sounding like I was saying "You can't ever make noise in the house." which isn't where I wanted to go with it.
