I think she does know. Based on a comment there on youtube, Scott Alexander is a member of the band who wrote and performed the song. I remember that she had a comment someplace about a band member who adored this video that he told her he'd be thrilled to see her do more vids with their songs.
I do believe he should have credited her though. I think I could not get her dotsub site to play; not sure why but thanks for the link to the other site. I didn't have that before.
No, you should not feel silly at all! I honestly didn't realize until you'd brought it up that it wasn't Laura Shapiro who'd posted the vid to youtube. My analysis is a guesstimate but it seems plausible to me. Also, because you raised the issue, I updated my post to let people know who created the vid.
