Was there anything about the episode that surprised you - your reaction was different than earlier watches, something happened that you'd forgotten (or something didn't happen that you expected). When I watched the episode after watching the entire series, the shot of Joyce and and especially Willow with weapons in their hands heading straight for Buffy gave me chills. (Shades of Gingerbread and Two To Go.)

That first Gorch brother that Buffy sees? I never understood how she knew he was a vampire. This time I caught that she didn't see his reflection in the mirror.

I was also surprised by how much there is going on in an episode. I had to take more notes than I'd expected.

I'm always forgetting things. I had a horseback riding accident when I was a teen that scrambled my brains. My memory is awful.

Of course the show was fabulously inconsistent on the "how can a Slayer tell it's a vampire?" issue. Willow sensed a vamp that faith missed in Who Are You without slayer powers after all.

I was also surprised by how much there is going on in an episode. I had to take more notes than I'd expected.

That happened to me rewatching Ted before I wrote meta about it for the Big Damn Lovefest; I'd thought of it as a silly throwaway ep while watching it and realized it was nothing of the kind.

Very sorry to hear about your accident sweetie; did it cause other problems? Increased headaches? Back trauma? On the upside - um, you have a dramatic excuse (always useful); most of us sadly don't.

No other issues, at least from that accident. I didn't even realize there were long-term problems for years and years. I did, eventually, realize I didn't recall things other people did but they were generally stupid things that had me asking "Why would you remember that?" When I met someone else who'd banged her head and she told me she'd become something of an airhead after, that's when I figured my amnesia must be related.

EW just posted a rewatch of Bad Eggs co-incidentally. (Oh so that's the ep that has the famous "Bangel kissing through the window" image.)

And I was talking to someone about IRYJ the other day (we're both fans) and thinking I need to rewatch that one as well. So - yeah, rewatch in order.

Thank you. I had another scene about the guard getting whacked with a crowbar by the teacher but the word count didn't work if I left it in.

For my rewrite of The Zeppo, I wrote all the verses I wanted and then picked ones for Open on Sunday that would bring the word count to 100.
